Because of all the snow melt that took place on Thursday, there could be a few areas of ice Friday morning, especially where water may have dripped from the roof and elsewhere where water ponded. For Friday, a trough of low pressure across New York and Pennsylvania will cause considerable cloudiness and will trigger scattered snow showers and flurries across the Northeast. It will be breezy and temperatures will be slightly below normal. There will be increasing sunshine as the weekend progresses, but it does remain rather cool.
