It’s almost time to play ball at Hotel Zachary.
One of the city’s most anticipated hotels in recent years — sitting across the street from Wrigley Field will do that — began accepting reservations Tuesday on its website.
Hotel Zachary opens March 26 but so far is only accepting reservations for April 23 and later. Earlier dates, including the Cubs’ opening day April 9, will be released in the coming weeks.
Rates start at $209 per night (plus tax) for non-Cubs game days and $309 per night on Cubs game days. Rates will vary based on season and demand.
Though nodding to its iconic neighbor, an early look at guest rooms showed a hotel aiming to be primarily steeped in urban and architectural history, as well as its place in the Wrigleyville neighborhood.
Hotel Zachary will feature 173 guest rooms, including 20 suites.
