Mariota Struggles Early But Recovers In First Exhibition Game

After his accuracy was lauded during the first part of training camp, Titans rookie Marcus Mariota's reputation for ball security took a hit during his first two drives in Tennessee's 31-24 loss to the Atlanta Falcons.

On his first drive, Mariota was intercepted by linebacker Justin Durant. The former Oregon quarterback had gone 186 passes without an interception during training camp seven-on-seven drills.

The ball slipped out of Mariota's hand on his second drive, and Paul Worrilow scooped it up and ran it 14 yards for a touchdown.

Mariota recovered for his third and led the Titans down the field with three nice completions before Dexter McCluster ran into the end zone...
