An impressive 2 1/2 weeks for Javier Baez was sweetened Wednesday night when he got to witness Roberto Clemente Day ceremonies.
"I feel blessed to be here," said Baez, who was born in Bayamon and grew up in Puerto Rico for much of his youth. "It's not just me. A lot of people looked up to (Clemente) and followed his life and his career.
"For us, he's the greatest to come out of Puerto Rico."
