The owners of the historic Hilliard Mills complex in Manchester plan to transform one of the buildings into a banquet hall.
The planning and zoning commission on Monday approved an application for Building No. 4 in the former woolen mills at Hilliard and Adams streets.
The 6,350-square-foot banquet hall would include a kitchen and bathrooms and 4,127 square feet of space for wedding receptions and other events. It would accommodate up to 275 occupants — 261 guests and 14 staff — according to a project description submitted to the planning department.
