Fright Haven Hosts Halloween In July With 'Friday The 13th Weekend'

The Stratford haunted house Fright Haven opens for one weekend to celebrate Halloween in summer with “Friday the 13th Weekend” on July 13 to 15 from 7 to 10 p.m.

The house has a new fright set-up, “The Camp Crystal Lake Experience,” an homage to the campground where Jason committed his crimes in the classic film “Friday the 13th.”

Along with the indoor haunted house, the weekend will include scary movies projected onto the Fright Haven building. Fright Haven managers say that some ghouls and monsters may jump out at people enjoying the movies in their cars.

Admission is $15 in advance; $20 at the door; or $30 online for tickets that allow visitors to cut the line. Regular tickets can also be bought online for $13 with the code JASON. Fright Haven is in the Stratford Square Shopping Plaza at 411 Barnum Ave. Cutoff. The attraction is open to all ages but recommended for 13 and older.
