Becoming Tiny Chefs At The Noah Webster Library

Children at the Noah Webster Library, in West Hartford, got the chance to learn basic cooking skills and become tiny chefs.

The library was visited by Tara Gesling, of Tiny Chefs, a group that visits locations in Connecticut, Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. to host culinary events for children.

At the Noah Webster Library, the young chefs were working together to make a guacamole chicken salad. They went through the steps, together, of juicing a lime, adding salt, pepper, and olive oil, and cutting a variety of ingredients, like chives, tomatoes, and avocados.
