Philip Joseph "Phil" Bosse, 59, of South Windsor, loving soulmate of Sharon O'Brien for the past twenty-four years, passed away on Thursday, October 4, 2018, at home after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on December 24, 1958, in Hartford, CT; son of the late Roger Bosse and Carlene (Marquis) Schoentag. He lived in East Hartford prior to serving his country in the United States Army. He was an avid sports fan; he especially loved the Boston Red Sox, Dallas Cowboys and UCONN Huskies. In addition to his beloved Shar-Bear, he is survived by a daughter, Adrienne Bosse of Southington and her mother Brenda; two sisters, Susan Arcari and her husband Richard Downer of Stafford Springs and Diane E. Bosse of East Hartford; step-father, Barry Schoentag of Ellington; sisters-in-law Lynn Colbert and her husband Steven of Enfield and Kim O'Brien of Florida, brother-in-law, William O'Brien of Enfield and several nieces and nephews. Phil was predeceased by two brothers, Michael and Gary Bosse. Relatives and friends may join the family for calling hours on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home, 419 Buckland Road, South Windsor, CT. A funeral service will immediately follow at 7:00 p.m. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
