Idol Kings Play For Glastonbury Crowd

The Idol Kings, a Journey cover band, performed at the Riverfront Concert Festival to another huge crowd, at Riverfront Park on July 19.

Estimates were that approximately 3,500 people attended the event, which was the Idol Kings' second appearance in two years as part of the concert series. In 2016, the Idol Kings' attendance was estimated at 4,000.

The hit of the night was the Glastonbury EMS, which provided ice cream from the Ben and Jerry's truck to help cool down the warm night concert's attendees.

On stage, the Idol Kings performed the hits of the legendary band, including "Don't Stop Believin'" and "Separate Ways," as well as a few from John Mellencamp and Tom Petty, who were both portrayed by the band's founder and bassist Mark Wanko.
