Canton Town Officials Announce Road Repairs

CANTON — The town has announced that the department of public works will seal cracks in the pavement of 15 roads during the next couple of weeks. Work is scheduled to start on July 28 and should be done by Aug. 11, according to the announcement from town officials.

Roads that will be repaired are Atwater Road, Blueberry Lane, Breezy Hill Road, Canton Springs Road, Center Street, Crown Point, Colony Road, Forest Lane, Garret Road, Highfield Drive, Queens Peak Road, Simonds Avenue, Thompson Hill Road, Westwood Drive and Wright Road. Repair work will be done between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Those roads will be open to traffic while the work is going on but town officials are asking that people not park on them during that time.
