New London teen charged with two robberies

A 17-year-old New London boy has been charged with two recent robberies, city police said Friday.

The teen, not identified because of his age, faces two counts each of first-degree robbery, reckless endangerment and carrying a dangerous weapon, among other charges.

Police said the teen’s charges stem from robberies Oct. 28th near 370 Colman Street and Nov. 1 near Bolder Drive and Jefferson Avenue.

New London police said other teens have been charged in connection with these crimes and their investigation remains on-going.
