Manchester Woman Killed In East Granby Crash

A 43-year-old Manchester woman was killed Wednesday night when her car collided with a tractor trailer on Route 20 in East Granby, state police said.

Lynn Lamson was the driver of a Nissan Rogue that collided with another car at the intersection, state police said.

The crash happened near Rainbow Road about 6 p.m., when a Chrysler Town and Country driven by William Parsons, 76, of Simsbury made a left turn out of East Granby Road onto Route 20 westbound and hit Lamson’s eastbound car, state police said. Her Nissan spun and was hit by a tractor trailer.

The drivers of the other vehicles were not injured, but they were taken to St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center for evaluation.

The crash remains under investigation. State police are asking anyone to contact Trooper William Atkins at Troop H.
