Poker Fun Run in Honor of Sgt. Gregory Caron

A Poker Fun Run was held Saturday evening in Hartford in honor of Sgt. Gregory Caron of Vernon. In November 2011 Sgt. Caron lost both his legs after stepping on an improvised explosive device while serving with the Marine Corps in Afghanistan. All proceeds from Saturday's Poker Fun Run went to Building Homes for Heroes, a non-profit organization which helps severely wounded and disabled veterans by building or modifying existing homes to meet their needs.
