[Comment From Guest: ] Is it appropriate for women to wear above the knee boots in a corporate setting with leggings? Are leggings appropriate workplace attire?Wednesday February 9, 2011 9:01

Tyrese Bolden: Hello, I would save above the knee boots for an outside setting or a dress down work day. A corporate office setting is not a place for leggings or a super high knee boot. Stick with a great pant suit or a think stocking, but if it is a dress down day, and the knee boot is not "super high" and you have a blazer on then that could work. ThanksWednesday February 9, 2011 9:07

[Comment From Rissa: ] Tyrese mentioned that hosiery should be worn, black or tan, with a skirt for an interview. My question is, does that note apply for summer or warmer weather interviews?Wednesday February 9, 2011 9:08

Tyrese Bolden: Yes this rule still applies. You do not want to come across as not taking the interview seriously. If you have on a skirt suit for a warm weather interview then you want to have on hosiery. You can always get a light (in terms of material) pair.Wednesday February 9, 2011 9:16

[Comment From hazel: ] How about if you go for a cna job, what would be approiate for that job interview?Wednesday February 9, 2011 9:17

Tyrese Bolden: You want to err on the side of safe, with this in mind you want to dress as if you had an interview with the Director of the company.Wednesday February 9, 2011 9:19

[Comment From Guest: ] I have to say that this segment was full of great tips! The advice about getting ties from a consignment shop was great. Any advice about great deals that I could get on dress jackets or suits?Wednesday February 9, 2011 9:20

Tyrese Bolden: I love shopping at consignment shops, they have the best items and the price can not be beat. The awesome thing about shopping at a consignment store is the floor plan. The stores are set up much like a grocery store. They have the ties, dress shirts, pants, and blazers all on their own rack and row. This makes it very easy to locate lets say your new dress jacket or suit.Wednesday February 9, 2011 9:23

[Comment From Rod: ] Can you actually over-dress for an interview?Wednesday February 9, 2011 9:24

Tyrese Bolden: OMG YES:-) Much like when Logan asked if my own look (today) could be consider "over-dressed" for lets say an interview at a bank or insurance company the answer was yes. You have to dress the part. So if your interview is at a Law Firm showing up dressed in a brightly colored shirt and or a suit that is not your typical "classic color suit" (by this i mean black, or navy) you are over dressed.Wednesday February 9, 2011 9:34

[Comment From Guest: ] What a GREAT segment. Thanks TyreseWednesday February 9, 2011 9:35

Tyrese Bolden: No thank you for allowing me to share:-)Wednesday February 9, 2011 9:35

[Comment From Rich: ] Is a jacket and tie necessary for a "business casual" job. Can it be a negative?Wednesday February 9, 2011 9:37

Tyrese Bolden: The tie is necessary but the jacket could be (depending upon the "casual nature" of the job) a secondary choice. You could do a light V-neck sweater with the tie and that would work. Thanks.
