We Track ECSU Students Biking Up East Coast To Fight Hunger

Two Eastern Connecticut State University students plan to spend their spring break helping others. They won't be in one place, though. They will be riding bikes from Washington DC back to Willimantic as a fundraiser for the Covenant Soup Kitchen.

Nick Fitzner and Patrick Scully will do the 500 mile ride from March 18th to the 25th and and have a goal to raise $25,000 for local agencies that fight hunger including the kitchen which is housed at St. Pauls Church in downtown Willimantic. The Kitchen provides meals in addition to a food bank for clients in need. Follow their journey here.
