Hartford Library Announces 2016 Baby Grand Jazz Lineup

Edmar Castaneda to kick off 2016 Baby Grand Jazz series at Hartford Library

The Hartford Public Library’s Baby Grand Jazz Series, one of the most popular, long-running jazz happenings in Connecticut, has announced its 2016 schedule, which kicks off on Jan. 3 with a performance by innovative Colombian harpist Edmar Castaneda. (Read the Courant's profile of Castaneda here.)

All concerts take place on consecutive Sunday afternoons at 3 p.m., from January through the end of April. (There’s no show on March 27.) They’re free, and usually packed. Visit hplct.org for more information.
