“Drunk Stoned Brilliant Dead: The Story of the National Lampoon,” a documentary about the veteran humor magazine, will be shown on Friday, Nov. 6, at 8 p.m. at The Palace in Danbury. The screening will be preceded by a reception for the film’s director Douglas Tirola and producer Susan Bedusa.

The Lampoon launched the comedy careers of Chevy Chase, John Belushi, Gilda Radner, Bill Murray, Christopher Guest, Harold Ramis and many others.
