The third annual Feature Film Project — a nationwide film screening at which the audiences determine if the movie should get a theatrical release — comes this week to the Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art in Hartford and the Bijou Theatre in Bridgeport.

The honoree this year is “Patrick’s Day,” an Irish indie about a mentally unstable young man whose obsessive monther interferes with his newly discovered sex life. It stars Kerry Fox of “Shallow Grave” and “Angel at My Table.”

The movie will be shown on Thursday, March 5, at 7 p.m. at the Bijou, 275 Fairfield Ave. in Bridgeport, and on Thursday, March 5, at 8 p.m. at the Atheneum, 600 Main St. in Hartford.

After the screenings, audience members vote. The results will be announced after all the nationwide screenings are over. Details, and results of the audience polling: thefeaturefilmproject.com.
