The Hartford Symphony Orchestra continues its popular series of “Harry Potter” movie events in April with two screenings of the third film in the series, “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.”

The 2004 film will be shown on a high-definition 40-foot screen while the orchestra performs John Williams’ Oscar-nominated film score live.

The shows will be performed April 6 at 1 and 7 p.m. at the Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts, 166 Capitol Ave. in Hartford. Tickets range from $38.50 to $88.50 and can be purchased at hartfordsymphony.org.

The film takes place in Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger’s third year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. New characters introduced in this episode include Professor Lupin (David Thewlis), Sirius Black (Gary Oldman), Sybil Trelawney (Emma Thompson) and Peter Pettigrew (Timothy Spall). “Prisoner of Azkaban” also marks the debut of Michael Gambon as Albus Dumbledore, a role previously played by the late Richard Harris.
