For skiing enthusiasts, it’s the most wonderful time of the year: time for a new Warren Miller movie.
“No Turning Back” is this year’s installment in the legendary, 65-year extreme-skiing documentary franchise. In the movie, athletes Tyler Ceccanti, Josh Bibby, Seth Wescott, Rob Kingwill, JT Holmes, Ueli Kestenholz, Tim Petrick, Mike Hattrup, Seth Morrison, Heather Paul, Kaylin Richardson, Oystein Aasheim, Sierra Quitiquit, Julian Carr, Ingrid Backstrom, Jess McMillan, Chris Anthony, Ted Ligety, Julia Mancuso and Mikaela Shiffrin tackle the slopes in Greece, Japan, Switzerland, France, Norway, Montana, Alaska and Colorado.
It will be shown Friday, Dec. 5, at 6:30 and 9:30 p.m. in the William H. Mortensen Hall at The Bushnell, 166 Capitol Ave. in Hartford. Admission is $22.50. Running time is two hours. www.thebushnell.org.
