Director Barry Levinson, ‘The Humbling’ At Ridgefield Playhouse

Barry Levinson, who won an Oscar for directing “Rain Man” and directed the classics “Good Morning Vietnam,” “Wag the Dog,” “Bugsy,” “The Natural” and “Diner,” is bringing his latest film to Ridgefield Playhouse.

“The Humbling” stars Al Pacino, Dianne Wiest and Great Gerwig in a dark comedy about an aging actor who is losing his grip on reality, who takes up with a young woman.

The film will be shown Sunday, Sept. 24, at 7 p.m. at the playhouse at 80 East Ridge. Levinson will do a Q&A after. Admission is $10. ridgefieldplayhouse.org.
