New Haven Cherry Blossom Festival

Thousands of friends and families descended on Wooster Square in New Haven Sunday to attend the 45th annual Cherry Blossom Festival. The celebration commemorates the planting of 72 Yoshino Japanese Cherry Blossom trees in 1973 and featured live musical performances, arts and crafts, face painting and food trucks.
