Hartford Men's Hoops Announces Full Non-Conference Schedule

Hartford men's basketball coach John Gallagher has announced the Hawks' non-conference schedule, which includes a road game against national champion Louisville, a matchup against every in-state mid-major team and a wild stretch of four games in seven days.

Hartford, coming off a 17-14 season that was one of the best in the program's history, opens against Quinnipiac Nov. 9 at the Connecticut Six Classic in Bridgeport. Hartford plays at Florida Gulf Coast Nov. 12 at 7 a.m., part of ESPN's Tip-Off Marathon, and returns to Connecticut for a game at Fairfield the next night (the first game against the Stags in 16 years). Hartford plays Yale Nov. 30, Central Connecticut Dec. 10, Sacred Heart Dec. 15 and at Louisville Nov. 14.

Here's the schedule as it stands now ... non-conference only. I believe the America East opener is at Albany, first week in January.

And here's the press release from UHart's Sarah Boissonneault ...
