Want that perfectly golden-brown turkey and all the trimmings without the mess, stress and constant temperature-checking? Plenty of Connecticut restaurants and caterers are ready to supply your Thanksgiving meal, whether you plan to dine out or in the comfort of your own home. All dining listings are for Thursday, Nov. 26, unless otherwise stated.

VIVO Seasonal Trattoria at the Marriott Hartford Downtown, 200 Columbus Blvd., Hartford, offers a special Thanksgiving menu from noon to 2 p.m. that features a pumpkin latte martini, oven roasted turkey, cornbread and sausage stuffing, cranberry compote, butter-whipped potatoes, sweet-potato casserole with brown-sugar pecan streusel, roasted Brussels sprouts with bacon, and a dessert of baked apple crisp a la mode with caramel drizzle or pumpkin cheesecake with whipped cream.

Mill on the River, 989 Ellington Road, South Windsor, offers a $35.95 prix-fixe menu for parties of up to 8 (larger parties will be offered a Thanksgiving buffet.) Dinner includes a choice of soup or salad, an entrée and a dessert. Entrée selections include roast turkey with stuffing, gravy, potato puree and cranberry sauce; German sauerbraten; honey-glazed Virginia ham; garlic and rosemary pork loin; baked stuffed shrimp; and grilled salmon. Featured appetizers, seasonal side dishes and select entrees and desserts are extra. An 18 percent gratuity will be added to all checks. Millwright’s, 77 West St., Simsbury, offers a prix-fixe Thanksgiving menu from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., with a choice of first course, entrée and dessert. Entrées include a Gozzi’s farm turkey, roast pork loin, baked salmon, dumplings and NY strip. Capital Grille, 44 Front St., Hartford, will be open Thanksgiving Day from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. In addition to its regular menu, the restaurant will offer slow-roasted turkey with brioche stuffing, French green beans with Marcona almonds and cranberry pear chutney, with mashed potatoes to share, for $36; $15 per child. Nat Hayden’s, 144B Broad St., Windsor, offers Thanksgiving to-go options. An $89.95 meal for 8 people includes a 12- to 14-pound, smoke-roasted turkey with spiced-citrus glaze, cornbread-sausage stuffing, roasted garlic mashed potatoes, giblet gravy, collard greens, butternut squash and cheddar-herb biscuits. Glazed roasted turkey on its own is $69.95, and Nat’s also offers apple and pumpkin pies from Get Baked bakery for $19.95. Rooster Company, 1076 Main St., Newington, offers Thanksgiving dinner from noon to 5 p.m., with carved rotisserie turkey and thyme jus and a variety of side dishes; Brussels sprouts with shiitake and Parmesan; Parker House rolls; beets with horseradish creme fraiche; cornbread and Italian sausage stuffing, and more. $30; $15 for children 10 and under; desserts of local apple cobbler and sugar pumpkin cheesecake are an additional $6 apiece. Black-eyed Sally’s, 350 Asylum St., Hartford, offers its popular Cajun-fried turkey dinner for $95, which includes a 12 to 14 pound turkey and choice of two sides (stuffing, potatoes, mac and cheese, collard greens, garlic green beans, red beans and rice with sausage, etc.) Add an extra side dish for $29 or a pecan, apple or pumpkin pie for $13.95. Angelico’s Lake House, 81 N. Main St., East Hampton, offers Thanksgiving dinner with seatings at noon, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. The menu includes a buffet presentation, with a carving station choice of turkey and steamship round of beef, along with chicken marsala, peel-and-eat shrimp, seafood-stuffed sole, cheddar macaroni and cheese, lasagna, sausage and peppers, salad stations, a fresh fruit and dessert display and additional chef’s surprises. $28.95, $13.95 for children 5-12 and free for children under 5. Angelico’s also offers complete Thanksgiving dinners to-go, with a “Feast” option serving 6 to 10 guests ($125) and a “Banquet” meal serving 14 to 16 guests ($150). Copper Beech Inn, 46 Main St, Ivoryton, offers Thanksgiving dinner from noon to 5 p.m., with a $75, five-course menu featuring entrée choices of honey maple turkey breast, roasted half-duck with honey orange glace or carved roasted beef tenderloin. Saybrook Point Inn, 2 Bridge St., Old Saybrook, features a buffet-style Thanksgiving menu with seatings from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Items include a carving station with roasted turkey and stuffing, a pasta station, salads, pan-seared cod with crab salad and maple-cured pork loin with Calvados demi-glace and caramelized Brussels sprouts. $49.95, $24.95 for children and free for kids under 5. Mattabesett Canoe Club, 80 Harbor Dr., Middletown, hosts dinner with seatings at noon, 12:15 p.m., 2:30 p.m. and 2:45 p.m. A hot buffet includes roast turkey and assorted sides, along with several stations featuring seafood, antipasto, carved meats and desserts. $34, $20 for children 5 to 12 and $10 for kids under 5. At Foxwoods Resort Casino, several restaurants will offer Thanksgiving dinner on Nov. 26. Cedars, serving from 1 to 8 p.m., offers a $26 roast turkey entrée special. Veranda Café, open until 9 p.m., offers a four-course menu with soup, salad, turkey dinner and dessert for $19.95. Paragon’s $55 prix-fixe dinner is available from 1 to 8 p.m., with entrée choice of roast turkey dinner or baked cod. Al Dente, also open from 1 to 8 p.m., offers a traditional turkey dinner for $25, along with a braised veal shank for two with pumpkin gnocchi for $69. Bear’s Smokehouse in Hartford and Windsor offers several Thanksgiving take-out options, including whole smoked turkeys, turkey breasts, smoked glazed hams, brisket and baby back ribs. Other items include sides, stuffing and breads, salads, appetizers, sauces and gravies and desserts. Max Catering & Events offers complete turkey dinners for families of 6 to 8 or 12 to 16, including roasted whole birds, stuffing, cranberry sauce, gravy, sides, dinner rolls and pies. Full dinners range from $169 to $259, a la carte sides are $12 a quart and pies are $25. “Enhancements” like shrimp cocktail, brined and smoked turkey legs and sliced glazed Berkshire ham also are available.
