Downtown Norwich hosts its third SantaCon, a bar crawl spreading holiday cheer that starts Saturday, Dec. 12, at 7 p.m. at La Stella, moves to Harp & Dragon at 8, Billy Wilson’s Ageing Still at 9 and These Guys Brewing at 10.
The Norwich SantaCon Facebook page suggests a few guidelines, including dressing as Santa: “A Santa hat alone is not enough. You don’t have to dress exactly like Santa, but the theme is red. That having been said, unusual interpretations of Santa-ness are often appreciated, and Christmas trees, elves, reindeer themes etc. are all good.
“Have fun. Don’t get drunk. Address your fellow Santa as ‘Santa.’ You get the idea. No admission fee. you’re on your own for food and drink.” More information on Facebook here.
