The Rising Pint Brewfest returns to East Hartford's Rentschler Field this Saturday, May 9 at 1 p.m, featuring tastings of craft beer from more than 60 breweries and eats from local restaurants and food trucks.
The brewery lineup features local, regional and national brands, with Connecticut representation including Back East, Broad Brook, City Steam, Firefly Hollow, Half Full, Hartford Better Beer Company, Overshores, Relic, Shebeen, Thomas Hooker, Two Roads and Willimantic Brewing Company.
Restaurants and food vendors include Black Bear Saloon, Bobby V's, Birch Hill Tavern, Caseus Cheese Truck, EZ StrEats, Hop Haus, Mercado, NoRA Cupcake Company, Plan B Burger Bar, Toasted and Whey Station. Bands 7 Below and the Fear Nuttin Band provide the live music.
Proceeds from the event will go to the Folds of Honor Foundation, an organization helping families of those killed or severly wounded in active duty.
Tickets are $45 in advance and $50 the day of the event, and include free parking, admission and commemorative tasting cup. Food is extra. Information and tickets: risingpint.com.
