Staying around town for Memorial Day? These restaurants offer specials for the long weekend:

Saybrook Point Inn, 2 Bridge St., Old Saybrook, offers some summery dishes at its Fresh Salt restaurant Monday, May 25: a New England clam bake (whole lobster, clams, mussels, potatoes, onions, corn on cob, linguica sausage) for $32.95; half-grilled chicken with lemon oregano baste for $19.95 and a 12-ounce NY sirloin steak for $27.95. A strawberry shortcake dessert special is $8.95.

Mill on the River, 989 Ellington Rd., South Windsor, has introduced Saturday lunch in its bar area and outdoor cafe from noon to 5 p.m. Happy hour has also been expanded to Sunday afternoons, available from 3 to 7 p.m. with drink specials and small plates priced at $3 to $7. The restaurant will be closed Monday, May 25.

Dish Bar & Grill, 900 Main St., Hartford, kicks off the weekend with live music Thursday and offers $5 specialty cocktails Thursday through Saturday from 6 p.m. to close. Drinks include a 312 sour with Goose Island beer and bourbon, cucumber cooler with infused Tito's vodka, rose sangria with St. Germain and a dirty Manhattan.

Cavey's, 45 East Center St., Manchester, will offer veterans a 50 percent discount on the entree of their choice Friday through Sunday. 860-643-2751,
