Majorca Closes In Hartford, Hopes To Relocate

Hartford's Majorca restaurant has closed - at least temporarily

Majorca, which made its mark on Hartford's Park Street with flavorful Spanish and Mediterranean flair, has closed, at least temporarily.

In a post on its Facebook page, the restaurant announced the closing and shared hopes to relocate soon. It was unclear where Majorca may move; owners did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Majorca, which took its name from the Balearic Island off the coast of Spain, opened in January 2015 in the former O'Porto space. The menu reflected touches of Spanish, Portuguese, Southern French, North African and Italian influence.
