Mohegan Sun has announced plans to add a Chick-fil-A restaurant to the resort casino's dining options.
The fast-food chicken restaurant, offering grilled and fried chicken sandwiches, nuggets, salads and sides, will open this fall. It will be located across from Carlo’s Bakery in Casino of the Earth and near a future entrance to Earth Tower, according to a news release.
"We're very excited to be welcoming Chick-fil-A as a new restaurant offering for guests here at Mohegan Sun. They’re an extremely popular restaurant, with some of the best tasting menu options you can find anywhere. The commitment to their team members and top quality guest service is in alignment with our culture and values. We can't wait to open this fall," said Ray Pineault, Mohegan Sun’s president and general manager, in a statement.
Chick-fil-A is based in Atlanta, with more than 2,000 restaurants across 43 states and Washington, D.C. The casino location will be Connecticut's fifth, joining others in Brookfield, Danbury, Enfield and Wallingford. West Hartford's town council voted in May to approve plans to open a Chick-fil-A at 511 New Park Avenue.
