Chef Billy Grant, of Grants and Restaurant Bricco in West Hartford and Bricco Trattoria in Glastonbury, will host a series of pop-up dinners at Rose's Berry Farm in South Glastonbury throughout the summer and fall.
Each monthly event will have a specific theme: June 12 is "Spring Fling," with courses featuring stracciatella and Chioggia beets, spring asparagus with shaved porketta, handmade cavatelli and ragu of spring lamb, Eastern halibut with Preli Farm baby sunchokes and Oregon morel mushrooms, and berry "shortcake" with Rose's Farm fresh berries.
July 17 will be "Shells and Scales," Aug. 20 is "Summer BBQ," Sept. 18 features "Corn and Tomatoes" and Oct. 10 is "Harvest Game." Each dinner includes alcoholic beverages.
