b Restaurants Celebrate 10-Year Anniversary

Celebrate 10 years with free mini burgers at @PlanBWHartford July 13

On July 13, 2006, the first Plan B Burger Bar opened in West Hartford, introducing the region to its "burgers, beer, bourbon" concept.

Throughout the next decade, that format would eventually expand to multiple Connecticut outposts and locations in Massachusetts, Virginia and Washington D.C.

Now known as b Restaurants, the group celebrates its 10 years in business with a party at the inaugural location at 138 Park Rd., offering free mini burgers July 13 from 1 to 8 p.m. Founders Al Gamble and Shawn Skehan will lead a celebratory bourbon toast.

All Connecticut and Massachusetts locations will be showcasing a retro menu (with original menu items like apple pie pizza, Wellington bites and the Ultimate cheeseburger) and retro pricing on cocktails and beers.
