Altnaveigh Inn in Storrs announces it's adding a new Sunday brunch, starting April 12 at 11 a.m.
The a la carte menu items include crème brulee-style bread pudding French toast, roast beef hash, a farmers' market scrambler egg dish, eggs Benedict Florentine, sirloin steak and "cheezie" eggs, roasted vegetable quiche and salmon cakes Nicoise. Entrees are $12.50 to $18; starters ($3.50 to $5.50) include fresh fruit salad, apple fritters, bread and pastry basket and sweet noodle kugel. Brunch, which runs until 2 p.m., also features a special drink menu.
