Capital Grille Offers $25 Wagyu Burger And Wine Deal

Burgers and wine are fast friends with new Capital Grille promotion

Burgers and beer are natural playmates, but brew takes a backseat at Capital Grille this fall as the restaurant pairs its Wagyu specialties with complementing red wines.

The premium Wagyu beef is available in three burger preparations: a cheeseburger with fried egg and crisp onions, a Kona-crusted burger with shallot mayo and a wild mushroom cheeseburger with 15-year aged balsamic. These are matched up with two suggested wines: a 2010 Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon from Jordan Winery or a 2013 Russian River Valley Pinot Noir from J Vineyards. (These wines are normally $20 by the glass.) 

The burger and wine duo is available for $25 in the restaurant's lounge through Nov. 23.  In Hartford, Capital Grille is at 44 Front St. 860-244-0075, thecapitalgrille.com.
