Target Expands its Free Cookie Program

As any parent knows, a quick trip to Target can turn into a nightmare when you have young children in tow. It's nap time or lunch time or just not a good time for whatever reason that day you run out of laundry detergent and have no clean clothes to wear. That 15 minute race through the aisles alone can turn into a miserable hour sometimes if your child is having an off day. Kids will be kids!

SuperTarget is trying to help parents and caregivers get their shopping done by offering a freebie. This is news to me, but SuperTarget already offers kids 12 and under a free cookie while they shop. Now, the retailer says in response to requests from parents, they'll also offer free fruit as an option.

Target has twenty Connecticut locations. Check with your local store to see if it offers the free cookie or fruit program!
