Not enough time in a day? Freaking out when you look at the calendar and then glance at your to-do list?
Maybe you need a break to finish up your holiday shopping without the kids asking what you're buying and for who. Perhaps the kids need an activity to burn off all that energy while you search for gift ideas online or wrap presents.
Have you ever considered a Kids Night Out? It's a drop off program for parents.
I found three you can take advantage of in the next couple of weeks so you can get a breather! I've taken my children to each one at one time or another in the last couple of years for different classes and each time, they had a blast!
Here are the links so you can see if any of them are a good fit for you and your child:
Romp n' Roll in Wethersfield is an indoor gym where kids can run free in any kind of weather! While they don't have a 'Kids Night Out' until January, they do offer a Parents Morning Out most Wednesday mornings, including tomorrow.
My Gym in West Hartford (other locations as well in CT) is also an interactive indoor gym. They are hosting a 'Kids Night Out' this Friday, December 18th.
Your local YMCA. Here is a link to the Greater Hartford branch, but there are several around the state. They offer a 'Kids Night Out' either every Saturday or every other Friday, depending on the branch. You don't have to be a member of the Y to participate.
There are different rates and age requirements and all require pre-registration so be sure to call first!
