Halloween Safety

Ghosts and goblins along with Elsa and some Minions will soon be ringing your doorbell saying, "Trick or Treat!"

It's one of my favorite times of year! The combination of the fall leaves, pumpkins, apple picking and hay rides all lead up to Halloween! I have always loved dressing up, even into adulthood, often throwing Halloween parties! But, unfortunately, it can also be a dangerous time for children. Carving the jack-o-lantern can quickly become a nightmare and if the kids can't see out of their mask or be spotted by cars, it can turn into a disaster. However, The American Academy of Pediatrics has a pretty good list of suggestions, many of them I hadn't thought of, so check it out! It covers everything from the candy to the decorations!
