What are you doing for New Year's?
While I've never done the Times Square New Year's experience, I've attended my fair share of parties and dinners over the years. This year, like the last few, I'm staying home. Don't get me wrong, I love socializing and spending time with family or friends, I've just never been into prix fixe menus and $30 cover charges.
So, what do you do when you have two young children and parents who fall asleep before the ball drops? Start the party earlier! There's plenty of family-friendly activities to ring in the New Year, even before it gets here. I love these crafty ideas I found. And, if you're looking for some fun out of the house, check out all these events happening in Connecticut tomorrow.
If you're heading out without the kiddos, some sites, including urbansitter.com report parents are often expected to pay the babysitter double the normal rate!
However you're celebrating, Have a happy and safe New Year!
