Holiday Lights At Lake Compounce

America's oldest continuously-operating amusement park, Lake Compouce, in Bristol, opened its gates Friday evening Nov. 30 to invite the public to view the park covered in holiday lights for the first time. During it inaugural Holiday Lights Show the amusement park opened select children's rides, offered entertainment such as ice carving and story time with Mrs. Claus, and of course meetings with Old Saint Nick. And when the night became too frigid, families could head indoors for cookie and ginger bread house decorating or visit restaurants serving hot cocoa, egg nog, s'mores and baked goods.
