Hartford, CT - The Hartford Courant and FOX CT, in partnership with FOX News Channel and The Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts, will host two debates in early October at The Bushnell's Belding Theater, located at 166 Capitol Avenue, Hartford CT. Candidates for U.S. Senate and Governor will have the opportunity to discuss and answer questions on several hot-button issues. The debates are scheduled for October 4 and 5 from 6:45 to 8 p.m. and will be broadcast live on FOX CT (broadcast is 7-8 p.m.). Due to the live broadcast, the doors will close promptly at 6:45 p.m.

On Monday, October 4, FOX News Channel Anchor Bret Baier will moderate as Democrat Richard Blumenthal and Republican Linda McMahon square off. The Courant's Chris Keating and FOX CT Reporter Laurie Perez will participate in the panel discussion.
The following evening, Tuesday, October 5, FOX News Channel Chief Political Correspondent Carl Cameron will moderate the gubernatorial meeting between Republican Tom Foley and Democrat Dan Malloy. FOX CT Morning News Anchor Logan Byrnes and Courant Reporter Daniela Altimari will join Cameron as part of the panel.
The public is being asked to submit questions prior to the debates on issues facing the state and country (people are asked to refrain from asking personal questions). Those interested can e-mail questions along with their name, address and daytime phone number to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Both debates are free and open to the public. Tickets can be picked up starting at 10 a.m. on September 13 at The Bushnell Box Office or the following public libraries (limit four tickets per person and must be picked up physically):
