The 6th annual Tommy’s Tattoo Convention, a gathering of tattoo artists, people who want tattoos, live music, performances, standup comics and other attractions, runs Oct. 13 to 15 at the Connecticut Convention Center, 100 Columbus Blvd. in Hartford.
Among the featured artists are several stars of the reality show “Ink Master,” including Chris Bliston, Eva Huber, Gian Karle, Jackie Jennings, Julia Carlson, James Vaughn and Ulysses Blair. Other expected well-known tattooists are Amy Nicoletto, James Mullin, Joe Meinwieser, Justin Coppolino, Myke Chanbers, Stefano Alcantaro and Takashi Matsuba.
Live entertainment includes Shovelhead, In the Red, Six-n-Lix and Greg Hall, The Human Knot, Inkllusionist and Enigma Man. MC Carl Blasphemy and Robert Mukes of “House of 1,000 Corpses” will make appearances.
One-day tickets are $17. Three-day tickets are $37. Adding a T-shirt to either ticket is an additional $13. Hours are Friday 4 to 11 p.m., Saturday noon to 11 p.m. and Sunday nooon to 8 p.m. The event is organized by Tommy’s Supplies, the Somers tattoo-supply manufacturer.
