Carolyn Kirsch, who danced for Bob Fosse and was in the original Broadway cast of Michael Bennett’s “A Chorus Line,” has been doing small theater projects in Connecticut for decades.

A play Kirsch has written about the French sculptor Camille Claudel (lover of Auguste Rodin) gets a staged reading 7:30 p.m. Saturday, May 9, at the Oddfellows Playhouse, 128 Washington St., Middletown. “The Waltz” will be read by Kirsch and members of the Vintage Players, accompanied by Phil Rittner playing Debussy melodies on the piano.

Tickets are $25; all proceeds will be donated to the Oddfellows Playhouse. Information: 860-716-6716, oddfellows.org.
