Leslie Jones is the complete entertainer. On “Saturday Night Live,” she’s both a standout performer (especially when flirting with Colin Jost on “Weekend Update”) and a consummate team player (reportedly holding back the urge to vomit when fake blood sprayed into her mouth in one messy sketch.)

She was a writer on “SNL” before joining the cast, and shares her well-crafted thoughts on a variety of subjects via Twitter. She was hysterical in “Ghostbusters” (2016) and has done memorable TV guest appearances on everything from “Workaholics” to “The Blacklist.”

Leslie Jones is at the Funny Bone club, 194 Buckland Hills Dr., Manchester, for five shows Aug. 10 to 12: Friday at 7:30 and 10 p.m.; Saturday at 7 and 10 p.m.; and Sunday at 7 p.m. Tickets are $50. 860-432-8600 and hartford.funnybone.com.
