'Watchmen' director goes for 'Sucker Punch'

"Watchmen" director Zack Snyder is looking for a few good women.

Snyder has tapped "Mamma Mia!" star Amanda Seyfried to lead the all-female cast of "Sucker Punch," according to The Hollywood Reporter. Seyfried would play a woman in an asylum facing imminent lobotomization; to cope, she creates a fantasy world. As you might expect, lessons learned in said fantasy world could help Seyfried escape her real-world fate.

In talks to round out the cast are "High School Musical 3" star Vanessa Hudgens, "Stop-Loss" co-star Abbie Cornish, "The Wrestler's" Evan Rachel Wood and "The House Bunny's" Emma Stone.
