Fast National ratings for Thursday, June 11, 2009
ABC averaged a 6.8 rating/12 share in primetime (which will likely change some when the live telecast is taken into account), easily beating CBS, 5.1/9, for the lead. FOX came in third at 4.5/8. NBC, 2.8/5, was fourth, and The CW trailed with a 0.9/2.
The Alphabet dominated the adults 18-49 demographic with a 4.4 rating, finishing a full two points ahead of No. 2 FOX, 2.4. CBS took third at 1.6, edging NBC's 1.5. The CW came in at 0.4.
" Jimmy Kimmel Live: Game Night" and the NBA Finals pre-game averaged 5.4/10 for ABC at 8 o'clock. A "Bones" rerun on FOX, 3.7/7, grabbed second. "I'm a Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here" earned a 3.3/6, narrowly beating an hour of "Old Christine" on CBS. "Smallville" scored a 0.9/2 for The CW.
The Los Angeles Lakers- Orlando Magic game drew a 7.5/12 on ABC at 9. CBS finished second in households with a "CSI" rerun, 5.8/10, but FOX brought in a few more viewers with "So You Think You Can Dance," 5.3/9. Repeats of "The Office" and "30 Rock" averaged 2.2/4 for NBC. The CW held steady with a "Supernatural" rerun.
ABC stayed on top at 10 as its NBA coverage scored a 7.3/13. "The Mentalist," 6.1/11, kept CBS in second, doubling the 3.0/5 for "The Listener" on NBC.
