'The Wolverine'

Release date: July 26

"The Wolverine" is kind of a sequel to "X-Men Origins: Wolverine," then again is also kind of isn't. The movie takes place after the events of "X-Men: The Last Stand," and finds Logan (Hugh Jackman) battling a new enemy in Japan. Jackman continues to be the thread between all of the film's in the "X-Men" franchise, but can he sustain another movie by himself? The initial "Wolverine" film wasn't well-received by critics, but made enough money to support a second. Maybe "The Wolverine" will have an upgrade in quality.
