Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
Marion Ravenwood and Cairo Henchman action figure set
Critic's Rating: 1 star
It's refreshing to see 56-year-old actress Karen Allen immortalized in toy, but her accessories include a large frying pan. It's intended, we're sure, for braining the included heathen henchman figure, thus allowing kids to experiment with both racism and misogyny in the safe confines of the sandbox. A single redeeming quality makes this set worthy of its one-star rating: It comes with a monkey.
Mint Crisp M&Ms
Critic's Rating: 4 stars
While pairing Harrison Ford's grizzled mug with a new flavor of candy is slightly absurd and unappetizing, the result is choco-crunchy-minty goodness. The all-green M&M's freshen your breath, making this an ideal movie date snack.
Also available: "Taters of the Lost Ark" Indy Mr. Potato Head, Holy Grail paper clip cup, Ark of the Covenant business card holder (no, we're not making these up)
Noticeably absent: There's a Cate Blanchett figure but no Shia LaBeouf?
