Season 8, third place Before "Dancing with the Stars": The Dallas, Texas native cheered for the Dallas Cowboys, but we know her better as the girl who got proposed to on ABC's "The Bachelor," only to get dumped on national TV. After "Dancing with the Stars": Things definitely looked up for Rycroft after being nationally humiliated. The last-minute "DWTS" replacement for Nancy O'Dell (who dropped out due to injury) was named to People magazine's list of the World's Most Beautiful People 2009 and was named #99 on Maxim's list of "Hot 100 of 2009." She also joined the crew of "Entertainment Tonight," filed pieces for ABC's "Good Morning America" as a special contributor and interviewed people in Times Square during the network's "New Year's Rockin' Eve" special. Rycroft was also in the running to replace Samantha Harris as co-host of "DWTS," but of course Brooke Burke got the gig.
