Quirk-tastic thespian Crispin Glover is the latest addition to Tim Burton's "Alice in Wonderland."
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Glover will play the Knave of Hearts in the Disney production, which will combine live action and performance-capture technology.
Mia Wasikowska is starring in the Burton film as Alice, a young woman who goes down a rabbit hole and has a series of trippy adventures. In the Lewis Carroll book, the Knave of Hearts stands accused of stealing tarts. Alice is called as a witness at his absurd trial and goes head to head with the Queen of Hearts.
Anne Hathaway and Burton regulars Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter were previously cast in the film.
Glover worked with performance-capture technology for his last performance, playing Grendel in Robert Zemeckis' "Beowulf." He's best known for roles in films including "Charlie's Angels," "Back to the Future" and "River's Edge."
