CBS, ABC, FOX, NBC, The CW
"Gossip Girl" and "30 Rock" did not save its best for last, at least in terms of ratings. "Ben and Kate" is at the back of the freshman comedy class. And we wouldn't trust that the "B---- in Apt. 23" will be back next year, based on the numbers. What's it all mean? That it's time again to count down the least-watched shows of the fall on each broadcast network.
As with past least-watched lists, this year's lowest of the low takes into account the five least-watched series at each of the five English-language broadcast networks. So even though "How I Met Your Mother" is the No. 37 show on TV this season, it's still here.
Per usual, this list takes into account only regularly scheduled airings of first-run shows on ABC, CBS, The CW, FOX and NBC -- there are 102 in all in fall 2012. "Encores" and Saturday-night repeats aren't counted. The five least-watched series (through Dec. 23; all ratings numbers courtesy of Nielsen) on each network follow, ranked from smallest number of viewers to largest.
