Kat Dennings, star of the current rom-com "Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist," is in negotiations for a role in "Defendor."
Written and directed by Peter Stebbings, "Defendor" stars Woody Harrelson as a man who believes he has a superhero alter ego. Does he truly have powers or is he crazy? Only his psychiatrist (Sandra Oh) knows for sure.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Dennings will play a teen who befriends the maybe-hero.
"Defendor" is set to begin production next month in Toronto.
Dennings can currently be seen as Norah in "Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist," which had a $12 million opening weekend. Her other credits include the late-summer sleeper "House Bunny" and Judd Apatow's "The 40-Year-Old Virgin."Copyright © 2015, CT Now
